A trip to Molineux awaits Leeds United this weekend as they take on Wolves in the Premier League.

Leeds enter the weekend sitting 19th in the table and without a win in two league fixtures now. Javi Gracia’s side taking on a relegation rival in Wolves, then, is an opportunity to put three points on the board and boost survival hopes.

It’s a massive issue for Leeds that injury news has emerged on Tyler Adams this week. The midfielder has a hamstring strain and will be absent against Wolves. He will be unavailable for the USMNT over the international break, with his involvement on the other side of that also in question.

Commenting on that yesterday, Gracia said in his press conference live stream: “There is no one like Tyler, he’s different than others, other players are different with different virtues and skills they have. In this case we have other players ready.”

The likelihood is that a pivot of Marc Roca and Weston McKennie plays against Wolves.

Adams headlines the current list of absentees, despite that including captain Liam Cooper. Cooper hasn’t played for Leeds since Jesse Marsch’s final fixture in-charge against Nottingham Forest with a muscular problem. He has been included in the Scotland squad for the upcoming international break, hinting that his injury isn’t too bad.

Stuart Dallas (leg) and Adam Forshaw (hip) are the two long-term absentees in the squad right now.

Luis Sinisterra has recovered from his own hamstring injury and played a minute off the bench last weekend against Brighton. Rodrigo Moreno also returned in that game for Leeds after a leg/ankle issue picked up in late January. That pair will be pushing for more minutes against Wolves.
