The European transfer window closed on Leeds United last night, with Raphinha the final arrival.

Leeds have leaned heavily on that market this summer. Rodrigo, Robin Koch and Diego Llorente have all arrived from the continent, with Raphinha rounding things off.

Mateusz Bogusz was one player heading out of Leeds ahead of last night’s deadline, with UD Logrones his destination.

The domestic window remains open for another 10 days and whilst we don’t expect to see Leeds do too much business in that window, there could be a few departures.

We look at THREE players we can see moving on between now and October 16th…

Barry Douglas

The Scottish left-back hasn’t featured in a matchday squad in the Premier League yet this season.

Phil Hay has confirmed that Watford and Blackburn Rovers are keen on taking him back into the Championship.

At 31, Douglas needs to be thinking about playing rather than kicking around on the fringes at Elland Road.

It’s one you can see happening in the next 10 days.

Robbie Gotts

Ryan Edmondson, Alfie McCalmont and Jordan Stevens are amongst the Leeds youngsters out on loan at the moment and Gotts could follow them.

The 20-year-old midfielder has a number of suitors in the EFL. Phil Hay has reported that Sunderland, Hull City, Huddersfield Town and Swindon Town are all in the mix to sign him.

Gotts, like Douglas, has had only League Cup minutes this season and with Leeds out of that competition, he could benefit from a loan.

Oliver Casey

Casey at one time might not have been available for a loan. He was on the bench against Liverpool, covering for Pascal Struijk and Robin Koch.

However, the arrival of Diego Llorente has strengthened Leeds’ options at centre-back. Bielsa now has four options in the heart of defence: Liam Cooper, Koch, Llorente and Struijk. Luke Ayling can cover there, as can Leif Davis and Kalvin Phillips.

With that in mind, Casey is down the pecking order. Leeds might see the benefit of sourcing him a short-term loan in the EFL to prove himself at senior level.
