Leeds United sealed two important new signings this week with Tyler Adams and Luis Sinisterra joining the club on long-term deals.

Leeds have been one of the busiest Premier League clubs so far with a host of new signings completed under Jesse Marsch.

More work needs to be done, despite Leeds striking deals this week to bring in Tyler Adams for £20million as well as Luis Sinisterra for £21million.

Those two arrivals could well spark exits from the first team too, with money needing to come in while Marsch aims to clear out players who may not be required.

Here, we look at two players we expect to depart after this double deal…

Raphinha

The most obvious exit still yet to be concluded is Raphinha’s.

The Brazilian was one of the main reasons for Leeds staying in the Premier League last term, and plenty of elite sides have taken note of his qualities.

Marsch was very open about the speculation linking him with a move away after the pre-season clash with Blackpool, and it’s clear that he is still in talks to move elsewhere.

The only sticking point with his departure so far has been the fact that Barcelona haven’t been able to stump up a fee that matches others.

However, claims from journalist Ben Jacobs emerged on Friday outlining that their offer now matches Chelsea:

Jamie Shackleton

Another outgoing expected is that of midfielder Jamie Shackleton.

The arrivals of Tyler Adams, Marc Roca, and Darko Gyabi now mean that Leeds have plenty of depth in the middle of the park, and Shackleton is surplus to requirements in that regard.

Not only that, but the academy graduate is deserving of more minutes after being a very good servant to the side when he’s been called upon.

Having broke into the senior picture in Marcelo Bielsa’s first season, he’s not yet had a sustained run of starts in the side.

He would be able to get that in the Championship, and with Millwall linked, it makes a lot of sense to see him move out temporarily.
