Leeds United still have business to attend to in the final days of the January window, knowing there are still incomings and outgoings worth considering.
The Whites have done well to make sure that the final few days of this month are not going to see a mad dash to complete deals to strengthen.
Arrivals of Max Wöber and Georginio Rutter have bolstered the side at both ends of the pitch, but more is expected to be done before Tuesday’s deadline, particularly in midfield.
Meanwhile, the club could yet sanction an outgoing before the window shuts in just over two days’ time.
Here, we look at two transfers that we could see pushed through before the deadline…
In: Weston McKennie
The main arrival that everyone is expecting to get pushed through at Leeds now is the signing of a midfielder, and Weston McKennie in particular.
Leeds have missed out in the race to sign Azzedine Ounahi, so all eyes are on the USMNT star and whether he will join.
Personal terms were agreed with the midfielder, as Fabrizio Romano added that the club are discussing a potential loan offer with an option to buy McKennie.
Such an offer might make a lot of sense if Leeds are keen to spread out the cost of their January signings.

Out: Kristoffer Klaesson
A lot of loose ends have already been tied up when it comes to outgoing transfers for Leeds, with Joe Gelhardt and Cody Drameh the latest to secure loan exits.
However, young goalkeeper Kristoffer Klaesson could yet be on his way out with a temporary move too.
That is according to the Yorkshire Evening Post, who reported earlier in the window that Leeds were likely to field loan interest in the Norwegian.
Whether a loan is secured for the 20-year-old remains to be seen, but Leeds look to have a replacement lined up just in case, with Senne Lammens heavily linked with a move to Elland Road.
